Me? I am mainly an affiliate marketer (I tried online poker for a while before discovering that it didn’t suit me or my wallet – like they say, experience is a great learning tool but boy can it be an expensive education!). Some business models (Like affiliate marketing) are built on the concept of promoting products for commissions, some others have to do with hosting ads and collecting revenue from them, or mailing out “promo blasts” promoting a product. You can also buy domain names for $8.00 & be lucky enough to sell them on for sometimes thousands of dollars, and so on. The possibilities are endless on the Internet, but you really have to look to yourself to decide your suitability for any of the online ‘disciplines’ – adequate preparation and planning is going to be the key to success in any online venture.
